1. Who we are
Sept & Stone, Inc. (“Sept & Stone”, “we”, “us”) operates this website, The Journal, and a portfolio of products including Mamba, sanctor, BlocLeague, and Style Shuffle. These terms govern your use of this website and our newsletter. Each product has its own terms, presented within that product or on its own site. Where a product’s terms differ from these, the product’s terms control for that product.
2. Acceptance
By using this website or subscribing to our newsletter you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above tells you when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
3. Use of the site
You may browse the site and read The Journal for personal and business purposes. You may not scrape the site at scale, interfere with its operation, misrepresent your affiliation with us, or use the site for anything unlawful. Areas marked for staff, including the administration console, are for authorized personnel only.
4. Our content
The text, design, wordmarks, and product names on this site belong to Sept & Stone or our licensors. You may quote short excerpts from The Journal with attribution and a link. You may not republish whole articles, use our marks, or imply endorsement without written permission.
5. Newsletter
Subscribing gives us permission to email you product releases, research notes, and essays. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly. We do not sell or rent the subscriber list.
6. Product previews and pre-release
Products described on this site as pre-release are offered to selected partners and early users. Descriptions, demos, pricing, and availability may change before general release. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell a regulated gaming product to the public. Mamba is licensed only to regulated platforms, and access to it is governed by the operator’s own terms and the laws of your jurisdiction.
7. Third-party links
The site links to product sites and other third-party destinations, including playmamba.com, sanctor.io, and blocleague.com. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
8. No professional advice
Content on this site, including articles about governance, gaming regulation, and technology, is general information. It is not legal, financial, or professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional before acting on it.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sept & Stone is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.
