Privacy Policy
Effective July 29, 2026 · Sept & Stone, Inc.
1. Scope
This policy covers this website, The Journal, and our newsletter, operated by Sept & Stone, Inc., Raleigh, North Carolina. Our products (Mamba, sanctor, BlocLeague, Style Shuffle) collect and handle data under their own privacy policies, presented within each product or on its own site.
2. What we collect
Newsletter: your email address, and the date you subscribed. Contact: whatever you choose to send us by email. Site operation: standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, kept for security and troubleshooting. We do not collect payment information on this site, and we do not run advertising trackers.
3. How we use it
We use your email address to send the newsletter you asked for. We use server logs to keep the site secure and working. We use correspondence to reply to you. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not use your data to train advertising profiles.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies: we process newsletter data on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing; we process server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website; we process correspondence in order to respond to your request.
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the site and deliver the newsletter, such as hosting and email delivery providers, under contracts that limit their use of it. We will disclose information if the law requires it. If Sept & Stone is ever acquired or reorganized, subscriber data would transfer with the same protections.
6. Retention
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, then remove it from the active list promptly. Server logs are kept for a short rolling window. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle the matter.
7. Cookies
This site works without advertising or analytics cookies. Where a page stores small amounts of data in your browser, such as remembering a form you were filling in, that data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email hello@septandstone.com and we will respond within the time the law requires. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
9. Children
This site and newsletter are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. If a change meaningfully affects newsletter subscribers, we will say so in the newsletter itself.
